Sign-up

Entry requirements

You can join the challenge if you meet the following criteria: 

• You are a student in a LIACS bachelor programme (either the CS or DSAI programme). 

• You have at most two remaining failed first year courses. 

• You have passed the first year Introduction to Programming and Algorithms(or ADS) courses. 

Sign-up

• You can sign up by emailing to Joost Broekens:  d.j.broekens@liacs.leidenuniv.nl

• You need to sign up individually. 

• Make sure you get a confirmation of your sign-up (if you don't: email again!).

• The deadline for sign-up is Monday September 23, 2024, 23:59 CET. 

• Decisions will be communicated shortly after. See schedule for first meeting. 

• In your application, include: 

  • Your name, student number and email address. 

  • A one-page application letter, where you describe 1) your motivation, and 2) your skill set. 

Selection

• There is place for 15 students maximum.

• When there are too many applications, selections will be made based on your motivation letter.

• Decisions are communicated in the last week of September 2024.
